I AM DUE TO TAKE DELIVERY OF A NEW VEHICLE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We would appreciate if you plan to collect your vehicle solo, this will reduce the risk for both yourselves and our staff.

Whilst we operate within the recommended health and safety measures in place, delivery of your vehicle will take place outside.

Our sales advisor will demonstrate/describe your vehicle to you, at a safe distance.

You are then invited to self-discover your vehicle, by reading the car owner’s manual. We are available if you have any queries / require any assistance with any features of your new car following taking delivery.

I WISH TO ENQUIRE ABOUT A PURCHASE OF A VEHICLE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We’d like to operate as close to “normal” as possible. Our showrooms are OPEN!

We invite you to visit (reminder to please bring a mask – this must be worn at all times whilst inside our premises).

We are currently limiting the entry into our showroom; entry is limited to one client per advisor.

You will be asked by our team members to sanitise your hands when entering our showroom.

You will notice some changes within our showroom, for example, the windows of display showroom vehicles are being kept open, along with others measures to ensure the health and safety of you and our employees are maintained at all times.

Service & Maintenance FAQs


I AM A GOVERNMENT DESIGNATED KEY WORKED, WHERE CAN I GET MY CAR REPAIRED?

Our vehicle technicians are trained overseas directly by our principles.

Our workshop is, therefore, able to complete any mechanical works on all the brands that Kind’s – Auto Sales Ltd represents.

For body works, we recommend Andrew’s Car Centre in Luqa, which is approved by Daimler to complete body repairs.

MY VEHICLE NEEDS URGENT WORK UNDERTAKEN, HOW AND WHERE CAN I BOOK IT IN?

If you need to bring your vehicle to us at the weekend, your towing company will have access to our premises so as to leave your vehicle. If you do find the need to drop off your vehicle during a weekend (or public holiday), please ensure to visit our servicing department on the next open business day so as to pass over keys for your vehicle and provide further detail.

MAINTENANCE WORK NEEDS TO BE DONE ON MY CAR, IS IT OK TO DELAY THE REPAIR OR SHOULD I BOOK IT IN AT THE WORKSHOP?

Our workshop is now working responsibly in accordance with Government guidelines. This means that only a limited number of our key workers are available for essential vehicle maintenance. ARE YOU EXPERIENCING ANY PARTS DELAYS?

At the moment, the Spare and Parts Department doesn't have any issue of delivery or delay.

IS IT ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WITHOUT A VRT?

Yes, it is illegal to drive a vehicle without VRT. Anyone whose vehicle’s licence expired after March and April 2020 and the vehicle in question needed the VRT, can now have this done.

In order for the process to run smoothly and without crowding, Transport Malta is allowing a period of 3 months (90 days) for the test to be carried out and the road license to be paid after that with an Insurance agent. The 3 month period commences on Monday 4th May and ends on 31st July 2020. This means that no vehicle with an expired licence will be allowed on the road after 1st August 2020. WHAT MEASURES ARE IN PLACE TO PROTECT MY HEALTH AND SAFETY IF I NEED TO VISIT YOUR DEALERSHIP?

Auto Sales Ltd. Kind's premises, such as Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Fuso, Renault, and Dacia Showrooms, Spare Parts Store and our Garage and Workshop are taking all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of customers and employees. These include:

- Observing appropriate social distancing at all times;

- Disinfecting and sanitising surfaces within vehicles, such as steering wheels, gear levers, door handles and controls;

- Regular hand washing and use of protective gloves.
