Romain Galea - Workshop Manager
Romain Galea comes from a strong Banking and Finance background. His first experience in the automotive industry was acquired as an Automotive Sales representative in Australia. He acquired City and Guilds certification in Engineering and later successfully completed a Diploma in Management at the University of Malta. He has occupied managerial posts in Customer Service, Leasing and Parts areas and is today the Service Manager for Mercedes-Benz and Renault franchises in Malta.
Gaetano Vella - Mercedes-Benz Service Advisor
Gaetano Vella has been working with Auto Sales Limited since 1967, when at the early age of 15 years he started off as a motor mechanic apprentice with the Service Team of the company. After six years of apprenticeship, he succeeded his final examinations and achieved the position of a first grade mechanic. In 1988, he was appointed as an assistant foreman with the auto-mechanical unit of the company. His excellent qualities reaped the fruits when four years later, the company’s managerial board promoted Gaetano as Service Advisor. He participated in various overseas group workshops and courses organized by Mercedes-Benz in Cyprus, Jordan and Ireland to enrich his qualities in customer care service techniques. His outstanding performance in the Irish course conferred him with an Honours certificate in the subject. The valuable experience gained during these past years, was attributed to the absolute trust which the management has shown him, and for this he is grateful. Gaetano’s principle is that care should be provided to clients at all times, in the most efficient ways.
Etienne Dalli - Renault Service Advisor
Etienne Dalli who is the Service Advisor on Renault vehicles, commenced his career in a local council whereby he acquired 3 years experience doing office work related duties gaining good customer care relationship skills. Although Etienne loves being of service and meeting new people yet his ambition was to work in the automobile sector, being quite fond of cars since he was a child. An opening to work with a local car importer helped Etienne fulfill his career development. He was primarily involved in the selling and ordering of parts and showroom related works, which included the duties of a service advisor. Subsequent to these 3 years, he took the opportunity Auto Sales Limited offered him as a Renault Service Advisor. Etienne’s mindset is that one should listen to what the client needs and try to do the utmost in the interest of the client at all times.
Mario Galea - Body Shop Foreman
Mario Galea started off with a good background of panel beating from his early ages. His studies focused primarily on this field of study backed by the journeyman certificate. Meanwhile, Mario gained more knowledge of this art by rendering services as an apprentice panel beater. His skills were soon to be noticed by Auto Sales Limited who enrolled him in its Panel Beating team. Throughout these years, Mario Galea gained thorough experience and continued to mould his talent. Mario Galea has been recently appointed Body Shop Foreman whereby he runs a team of 7 people who perform duties relating to panel beating and spray painting. Part of Mario Galea’s duties also entails giving estimates of works to be done to customers, this being obtained from his vast experience. Mario is a firm believer of good performance and entices his team players to give a satisfactory output day after day.
